Why cut a podcast into clips?
Few people start an hour-long episode without knowing what's in it. A one-minute clip shows the tone of the show and the quality of the guests, and gives a reason to listen to the rest.

Does Clipotte follow whoever is talking?
Yes: the 9:16 reframe follows the main face and cuts cleanly on every shot change. On a multi-host podcast shot wide, check each clip in the editor before exporting.
If the wide shot matters (two people side by side bouncing off each other), pick the whole video on a blurred background instead of full frame.
Which podcast moments make good clips?
A blunt question and its answer, a disagreement between guests, a story with a punchline, a tip people can use right away. The AI looks for passages that make sense without the rest of the episode, as explained in how AI picks the moments.
The first pick is automatic. After that, the free regeneration takes a brief, such as “find the funny moments” or “keep the practical advice”.
How much for a one-hour episode?
€7.90 for an episode up to 1 hour, €12.90 up to 2 hours. With animated captions (+€2), a 1-hour episode comes to €9.90.
If you process a lot of video, there are two yearly packs: Creator at €149 for 40 hours of source video and Agency at €399 for 150 hours, all options included, valid for 12 months.
What if a guest is filmed in a public place?
Automatic blur (+€3) detects and tracks faces and licence plates one by one, in several styles (smooth, pixel, frosted, emoji). Detection isn't foolproof: check each track before posting.
Also let your guests know the episode will be clipped: see reposting a video on other platforms.

What's the maximum episode length?
Up to 3 hours and 4 GB, in MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM or AVI.
My podcast is audio only, will it work?
Clipotte works on video: it reframes the picture on whoever is speaking. For an audio-only podcast, you need a video first.
Can I use the clips for clients?
Yes, the clips are yours, including for commercial use, as long as you hold the rights to the original video.
Is there a subscription?
No. You pay per episode processed; yearly packs are an option if you produce a lot.
