Many churches film or livestream their services. The sermon often holds a few minutes that speak to everyone: picked well, they make clips people happily share during the week.
Why make clips from a sermon?
Because a forty-minute message is rarely rewatched in full, while a strong one-minute idea gets shared with friends and family. The clip carries the service into the week.
It's also a way to introduce your church to people who wouldn't walk through the door straight away.
Which passages should I pick?
A line that sums up the message, a well-told story, a practical application for the week. The passage has to make sense without the reading before it.
The brief helps the AI target those moments: “practical applications” or “stories”. It picks from the transcript and scores each clip out of 99, as explained in how AI picks the moments.
How do I respect the congregation on camera?
Members haven't necessarily agreed to appear on social media. Clipotte's full frame follows the main face, usually the preacher's, which leaves out most congregation shots.
If people remain recognisable, the blur option (+€3) detects and tracks faces. It isn't foolproof: check every clip before posting, especially if children are present.
What about worship songs and music?
Songs have writers and often separate streaming licences from whatever covers the service itself. Check what your church's licence covers before posting a sung passage.

What does a filmed service cost?
With the range setting, you process only the sermon, not the whole service: the price follows the length you keep. A 30-minute sermon costs €4.90, €6.90 with animated captions.
