Opus Clip pricing, explained

OpusClip pricing is measured in minutes of video per month. Here are the plans from its official page, how to compare them with your real usage, and when paying per video makes more sense.

What plans does Opus Clip offer?

On OpusClip's official pricing page (checked on 23 October 2026): Starter at $15 a month for 150 minutes, Pro at $29 a month for 300 minutes, and a free plan with 60 minutes a month and a watermark.

Prices are listed in US dollars, plus any taxes depending on your country.

Pro$29 / month300 min

What counts as a “minute” at Opus Clip?

For this kind of tool, the allowance is usually counted in minutes of uploaded video, not minutes of clips produced: a 45-minute video would then use 45 minutes, even if you only keep a few one-minute clips. Check the exact definition on OpusClip's page.

The fine print (unused minutes rolling over, maximum length per video) is on OpusClip's pricing page: read it before choosing.

How do I know which plan suits me?

Add up the length of the videos you process in a typical month, counting only the useful parts. If you regularly go over 150 minutes, Pro makes sense; if you're well under, you're paying for unused minutes.

Count the months you don't post too: a subscription bills even when you don't film anything. That's where paying per video can make more sense: see a clip maker with no subscription.

What would the same usage cost with Clipotte?

Clipotte is paid per video, based on the length processed: €4.90 up to 30 minutes, €7.90 up to 1 hour, €12.90 up to 2 hours, €16.90 up to 3 hours. Options: animated captions +€2, face and licence plate blur +€3, hook titles +€1.

One 45-minute video a month costs €7.90 with Clipotte, no subscription. Three 50-minute videos a month cost €23.70: at that pace, OpusClip's Starter is the better deal. If you process a lot of video, there are two yearly packs: Creator at €149 for 40 hours of source video and Agency at €399 for 150 hours, all options included, valid for 12 months.

Is Opus Clip's free plan enough?

For trying it out, yes: 60 minutes a month is enough to process a video and see the result. The watermark, though, gets in the way of posting under your own brand.

Clipotte has no free plan; its clips never carry a watermark. That trade-off is discussed in a free Shorts maker with no watermark, and the full comparison in the Opus Clip alternative.
